One Last Ride in Ketchum

Short post - my last day in Ketchum.  Dan and I hit the town last night (perhaps the town hit back a bit) so we burned our sorrows away in the mountains.  The Greenhorn Trail System is outrageously beautiful.  There is an awesome view of the Boulders once you accomplish the hill climb (hike-a-bike).  A chipper fellow slapped us high fives on his way by, priceless.

The Sun Has Returned to the Valley

Wednesday was sunny and beautiful, so Dan and his boss Ryan took me on some hellacious two and a half hour mountain bike ride.  Started around Fox Creek and circled out to Chocolate Gulch, then back to Fox Creek.  Fell a few times, saw my life flash before my eyes a few times, but all in all totally worth it.  Finished of with a beer at Lefty's.

1 week to go

1 week from today and I will have arrived in the Dam.  My immediate goals are as follows:
  1. Go to the famous flower market, buy flowers and put all over room
  2. Buy a bike
  3. Set up a tranquil study area
  4. Find my go-to coffee shop
  5. Blend in
  6. First trip: either Delft or Belgium
Goals for my last week in Ketchum:
  1. Mountain bike every day (because it's finally sunny)
  2. Lefty's
  3. Hike to the top of Baldy (check, did that with mom and Dan)
  4. The Cellar
